It seems Memorial Day was just a few weeks ago and now Labor Day looms!<br /><br />So many projects to accomplish: moving all colleges and schools into the new Visual Identity Guidelines (my personal favorite is <a href="http://www.depts.ttu.edu/hs/">Human Sciences</a> so far!); our new Emergency Communication System with <a href="http://www.ntigroup.com/products/higher-ed.asp?z=20070822084835">ConnectEd</a>; converting back issues of <a href="http://www.depts.ttu.edu/communications/vistas/">VISTA's</a>; creating a microsite for parking challenges presented by the <a href="http://www.depts.ttu.edu/communications/freeway/">Marsha Sharp Freeway construction</a>; just to name a few. No wonder time has flown. But thanks to a great team, <a href="http://www.depts.ttu.edu/communications/staff/jon-fox.php">Jon</a>, <a href="http://www.depts.ttu.edu/communications/staff/monica-higgins.php">Monica </a>and Ryan) we're in great shape!<br /><br />It's always exciting to see and hear the Goin' Band practicing, it makes me look forward to football season. As I was home nursing a sick "tummy" yesterday, I had the opportunity to watch some shows I ordinarily would have clicked right by.<br /><br />I'm no diehard country music fan, but Reba McEntire has a voice that is just out of this world and to see her paired with Kelly Clarkson's bluesy/edgy voice courtesy of CMT's Crossroads show was an experience I won't soon forget.<br /><br /><object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/5yGo5U3vR0Y"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/5yGo5U3vR0Y" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object><br /><br />As a mom and an advocate for children in the foster court system of Lubbock County, this is ONE powerful song, with a powerful message (based on Clarkson's early family life as I found out on Wikipedia).<br /><br />Video<br /><br />One of the coolest things we do here in the C&amp;M Web Development office is track the hits to our site [we use <a href="http://www.google.com/analytics">Google Analytics</a>--very cool and FREE].<br /><br />We are constantly measuring and evaluating visitor behavior...tweaking this...moving that...to enhance the visitor experience and maximize the depth of each visit.
